Challenges to 2050

#Futuro Nuclear

What is the future of nuclear energy in the world?

That is the question we are going to address in the fourth installment of Futuro Nuclear, a program in which we are going to look to the future by setting a specific date as a reference: the year 2050. What role should nuclear energy play in the world in the post-pandemic era, and how can it contribute to the transition towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly energy model?

We explore how countries around us and around the world are betting on nuclear energy, including some green political parties. We will also look at the challenges facing the nuclear industry and the opportunities it presents for the economy and jobs.

This program features:

  • Atte Harjanne, Member of Parliament of the Finnish Green Party
  • Juan Ramón Rallo, economist
  • Sama Bilbao, Director General of the World Nuclear Association
