At the SPANISH NUCLEAR SOCIETY, we are especially aware of the confidentiality of the personal data that is provided to us through the website, and through this policy, we inform users regarding data protection as well as their rights.

Therefore, and by virtue of the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR), EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, and in accordance with the principle of transparency, we put at your provision of relevant information on the processing of personal data, in order to make known at all times, how we process data, for what purpose, and the corresponding rights.

Obtaining Data:

THE CONTROLLER has obtained personal data that will be processed through different channels:

  • Voluntarily provided by the owner of the data, either through a web form, email, telephone, to request any type of information or formalization and/or acquisition of services or products.
  • From sources accessible to the public and/or public records, and whenever there is a legitimate interest on the part of THE CONTROLLER to do so.

Description of the Purpose of Processing:

In the SNE we process the information provided by interested persons in order to become members of the same, receive communications and information periodically, make the organization and management of attendees to events, as well as sending invitations to new events that are organized, including electronically. If you do not provide your personal data, we will not be able to fulfill the functions described above.

No automated decisions will be made based on the data provided.

We will process your data for commercial, administrative, accounting, and tax management, in accordance with current regulations and based on the information provided and authorization granted.

Data Retention

The personal data provided will be kept as long as the relationship with the entity is maintained and its deletion is not requested by the interested party. It will be kept in accordance with the established legal deadlines and depending on the purpose for which it was collected.

In the event that the interested party is voluntarily subscribed to some type of commercial communications, newsletter, advertising, etc. the data will remain until the latter processes their cancellation from this type of communication.

Legitimation

We indicate the legal basis for the processing of your data which is the Consent of the Interested Party for having voluntarily and expressly requested:

• to be a member of the SNE,
• any type of information,
• subscribing to receive communications,
• registration to seminars, congresses and events,
• request the sending of invitations to new events that are organized, including by electronic means.

Recipients

While the data of the interested party is being processed, THE CONTROLLER will not transfer the data to third parties, unless there is a legal obligation.

In the cases where, to carry out administrative, fiscal, accounting, and/or commercial processing, the services of third parties are available, the mandatory data processor contract will be duly formalized in order to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data of the interested party with respect to third parties.

Rights

The interested party, in relation to their personal data, can exercise the following rights freely and free of charge:

  • Right of access to your personal data.
  • Right to rectify your personal data, when it is incomplete or inaccurate.
  • Right to delete your personal data, when it is not necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
  • Right to limit the processing of all or part of your data.
  • Right to object to processing.
  • Right to data portability.
  • Right to withdraw previously given consent.

In the event that you feel your rights are violated with regard to the protection of your personal data, especially when you have not obtained satisfaction in the exercise of your rights, you may file a claim with the competent Data Protection Control Authority.
